Our Story

Welcome to The Olde Loft: a multigenerational, family-owned business located in Central Pennsylvania.

The Olde Loft traces it’s roots to an actual loft in an old barn that was once located on our property. In that old loft, we discovered a unique type of lumber, American Wormy Chestnut, from trees that are now extinct. We built our dining room table from that lumber and discovered a love for creating new furniture from reclaimed lumber and restoring vintage pieces to useful, quality pieces that can be enjoyed for years to come.

We are inspired by clean and simple spaces, warm wood tones, and the beauty of nature.

Our goal is to help you curate furniture and home décor that nurtures a peaceful and welcome atmosphere in your home. There truly is no place like home!

Six years in, and we are excited to have two of our three grown children and their families joining us as we launch our very own line of all natural, nontoxic candles! In keeping with the inspiration behind our furniture and home décor products, we are choosing scents that call to mind the beautiful simplicity of nature. We are excited to be working together and giving our grandchildren opportunities to learn the values of hard work, business, communication, respect, and initiative.

We started out as vendors at various locations to where we are today, with a store at our home. It is our goal to provide quality furnishings that inspires others to create spaces in their homes that are welcoming, and promote a clean and peaceful atmosphere for all to enjoy! We love meeting new people and hope to see you soon!
